The best solution we have found to keep those cute but pesky deer from nibbling away at your blossoms is Liquid Fence. We have tried a variety of solutions, and this one seems to work the best. I have friends, though, who will tell you that their husbands actually urinate in the gardens which, they claim, also seems to work. Either way, the odor is going to be unpleasant, at least for a couple of days so if you are planning on entertaining, you might want to wait until after the company is gone to apply either method.
